Clear stamp storage

I've been asked how I store my clear stamps so I thought I'd make a blog post. This is what works for me and I like best. I have a few that are larger than the size sheets I've made and some sets that are all one theme I've decided not to bother taking apart to fit on my stamp sheets because they'd take up a couple sheets anyway. I keep those with my wooden stamps in small pizza boxes. I remove the clear backing from the stamps. The clear front with the image I cut around. I may or may not take the stamp off first, but I do peel the stamp off either way because they can be so hard to peel off the first time and they need to be removed to laminate the images. I use card template to arrange the stamps on so they will fit. (I do this with the stamps on the backing to be sure they fit together - it also keeps the backing raised up to apply the laminate.) Using a piece of adhesive laminate larger than the template, I carefully lay it on top of the arranged stamps. Then I flip it over, carefully remove the stamps, then lay a second sheet of laminate on top. I arrange my template on the laminated stamp sheet so I can see where to cut it to size. After it's trimmed, the clear stamps cling to the laminated card on the back side. This is what it looks like after I've made the laminated sheet and stuck the stamps to the back side. Then I arrange my stamp sheets in a box that I can flip through like files. I've recycled this old vodka nip box into storage (no, I don't drink but I did get it from a liquor store years ago. LOL) It's almost full, I may need to make a bigger box if I don't stop buying stamps.

What an awesome way of storing your stamps! I really like the box and doing like a card catalog!

Your's are so neat and orderly, I should try to organize my clear stamps somehow. I don't have many, but they'd be handier to use if I could see them better. Then there are those with handles....
