A card I made awhile ago. I used various dies, a border punch, and an embossing folder.
These 4th of July cards celebrate our 250 years since our declaration of independence in a postage stamp design.
The girl is from an old Stampin Up set. I masked over the flowers in her hand when inking the stamp and drew a little flag instead. The diecut numbers are holographic paper.
The idea for these cards came from Pinterest where I saw this flag design on a canvas. I thought the quote stamp (Tim Holtz) went perfect with it for the 250 years Independence Day.
Some older cards I made with ideas I found on Pinterest. I like to try and copy cards I like using things I have. It's a fun challenge! My cards will the ones first pictured followed by the inspiration card.
It's been quite some time since I made this so it's hard to remember but I think I had made my own stencil for the waves.
I got the idea of the flaming cake and burnt corner from Pinterest and have made 2 of these. I found the perfect stamp sentiment for the front and the inside is my own idea. I used some random dies to make the fire extinguisher. (Wine bottle, tiny letter y.)
This was the first time I made the card.
I used the Artist Loft watercolor paper from Michaels with Betterpress plates. The cheap watercolor paper isn't great for doing actual watercolors but makes pretty decent letterpress paper.
I got the ideas/inspiration from Pinterest. The inspiration for the first card is below but I don't have any for the other 2 cards.
This is a card I made for someone a couple years ago. It ended up arriving too late. :( The sunflowers are symbolic of her childhood where she grew up.
I used some diecut washi from Pinkfresh. Inside I mixed them in with some pop up flowers I made from a tutorial on Pinterest.
Some cards I made for a challenge just getting them posted on my blog now. I used my Kaleidoscope Creations stamps on the second set.
More cards from last Christmas. I often make 2 at a time as I don't enjoy making a bunch of all one design.
The deer cards (which I didn't get a sentiment on the front until later) were sent to people who had had a recent loss of a spouse. I think they said something like wintertime wishes and warm winter wishes.
A couple of cards I made inspired from ones I saw on the internet. The first one was inspired by a card I saw made with Spellbinders dies by Sarah Leese. The haunted house is a counterfeit from an SCT one day event. I had to come up with ways to make parts of the house as I didn't even have tiny window dies. I wish I had the actual house die set because I had another idea!
2025 Christmas cards. I used craft foam for 'bright' on the first card and iridescent paper for 'shine' on the second.

From a cut file I made myself. Inspired by the lantern dies and cards I saw from Pinkfresh Studio and Divinity Designs.
Made these for Valentine's day. (again, didn't get the cards out this year) Could be used for other occasions, too. I used some stationery, hence the lines, and the large hearts are woven Danish hearts stuff with just a tiny bit of fluff.
