Halloween (and fall) gnomes

 These cards were inspired by dies and stamps I saw. I already had a set of Christmas gnomes from CottageCutz and I really like the gnomes but I didn't need to buy more.  Here's my cards and my inspiration.

 Inspired by images I found on Pinterest that were prints. 

 

 

 

 

For this card, I wanted to try and replicate the shape of the lantern so I used a window die and a shape die that I trimmed for the top.

Two more layouts

One was for a challenge (monochromatic, foam stamps, border punch) and the other was one I drew for myself with my layout inspiration generator. (analagous, heat embossing, journaling strips) I used chipboard negatives and heat embossed them.

These were done for challenges on a scrap board. The challenges were made up using my layout inspiration. I had a lot of pics I needed to fit between 2 pages so I went with the color blocking method.

Layout inspiration

I've come up with a way to kick-start your scrapping. There are 78 techniques for you to print out HERE. Cut them into strips and keep them in a jar or other container. When you're ready to scrap pull out 3 strips and use those techniques/ideas on your page.


Here is a container I have dressed up to store mine in. It used to hold Hershey's baking cocoa. I might add a label or something to the front with the words Inspire Me.
