Some Disney layouts

I used some old stickers on these from a kit I had bought way back then at WDW. Some of the images I fussy cut to reduce the border. I created the banners in the last photo from my Celebrate Alpha stamp set and cut with a SU punch that happened to closely matched my size/shape of stamps.

Lake Compounce

Two versions of the same event as I had more pictures for one child's album than I was had for the second.

Kennedy Space Center

Sorry, these double page layouts are uploaded as separate pages. I had done the photos this way for instagram awhile back and didn't want to retake the photos to get the whole spread.

I used an old DCWV stack called Hey Sailor.

Project life cards work great on traditional layouts.

Layouts for September

Not the best pics even touched up but here they are. I'm using a free program call Fotor to resize and adjust but I don't know if it's me/the camera, the program, or both.

layouts for August

I'm still working out how to edit my photos. I found a free online editor I could download (don't want anything cloud-based) but it doesn't let me quite do what I want/need to like my old Adobe. I ended up using MS Paint after doing my photo editing to go over the parts I don't share online. I could use circles over faces when I take the photos, but putting something over names is more of a pain. The editor also wouldn't let me save back to my SD card, I had to save them to my computer.

my MAINE squeeze

The title is a play on words as it was our 9th anniversary and we went to Maine.

2 more layouts

This is the other LO of D.C. for my son's album and the amusement park LO for my daughter's album who had more pics. My son's was only one page but I was able to duplicate it for the left side switching out the 2 top pics as I had more pics of the skater ride than on his page. I based the rights side off of a Scrapbook Generations sketech.

Washington DC layout and paper purchase

For my son's album.

I took advantage of a paper sale at JoAnn's to pick up a bunch of patterned cardstock. It was 12 for $2 and I had an extra 25% total purchase. I just love this core'dinations cardstock. Most I got 2 sheets of and a couple I got 3 of and a couple only 1 of because I had a second sheet at home.

layouts for April

Having several pics that couldn't really be cut down made it harder to work with that I ended up working out a block design. It wasn't going to work out in the album to make a 2 pager. I wanted to keep it less crowded looking, and needing the space for journaling, I opted to not use any other papers and outlined my open spaces and gave each a subtitle with a stamp. And I was happy to remember to use my DC stamp set!

On this one the brochure serves as a title.

I decided to keep this one simple and not add a title really or any embellishments though I had toyed with the idea.

Fort William Henry

Two identical LO's - one for each kid. I needed to show both for a challenge. :)

Some layouts...

I am loving using my inspiration jar! I've been using different techniques and tools and I think it's made a difference in my scrapping even though I'm still a pretty simple scrapper. paper tearing, weaving, chalking stitching, sanding, 2 patterned paper (the pattern on the yellow is subtle) The next two I didn't use the jar for, I was just trying to get some layouts done for a contest. But I did inking, stamping, and used a diecut. Also stickers, stitching, and paint.
