Stamped candles

I meant to post these before Christmas but I didn't get a good pic and didn't make the effort to keep trying. So.... I'm just a tad late. You could always make some to burn on New Year's Eve! *grin*

You can find tutorials online on how to do this. Basically, you stamp on tissue paper, cut close around your image, use a piece of waxed paper to hold your tissue to the candle, and slightly melt the candle and waxed paper with a heat gun. The tissue paper absorbs the wax and 'melts' into the candle. You can also use printed tissue paper - which is what I did with the last 2 candles, cutting out some words and images.

Happy Holidays!!

This is a neat idea! I love candles but tend to keep them plain. I'd love to get fancy though. Maybe for Valentine's dinner with all hearts and love stuff on the candles!
You always have neat ideas!
