This afghan was probably about 5 years in the making. I start a project but don't have the momentum to keep going until the end. Then when I was almost done, I ran out of the brown yard, had to buy more, and forgot to work on it. I came up with the pattern myself after seeing a plaid dishcloth on pinterest. Only I didn't think it through all the way and ended up with more of a waffle. Which is just as well because I don't think I'd want to have done all the vertical rows of single crochet making a plaid would require! This blanket is sized to snuggle up in while watching tv and adequately cover from neck to toes.
