Valentine card

I made this card last night for my husband. Even though we don't really 'do' Valentine's day. All that commercialism and couples having expectations. Then you hear people complaining about what their significant other did or didn't do. I once read a quote that said 'expectations are premeditated resentment' and I think sometimes it's true! Anyway, I enjoyed making the card. Something that has a bit of an old-fashioned feel. I pop-dotted the solid background layer and also raised up the silhouette, which was cut from A Child's Year cartridge.

This is so adorable with the sweethearts, and I love that border punch!

I went to Michaels today - first time in several years, and picked up some pop up thingies - now I don't have to make my own. I also bought more Stickles - love that stuff!

I'm getting to play a lot with real paper lately, wonder if Photoshop will get all jealous!
