Love and cookies

 Made this for a friend that had sent me cookies several times in the past. I had started it back in early spring and was almost done but was trying to figure out how I wanted to finish off the bottom area. I meant to have it ready to send my her summer birthday but I didn't get back to it in time. I finally got it finished and sent off with holiday cards.

 I used watercolor paper so it would be thick enough to hold up to the stitching better. I wanted to use thread for the whole thing but I wasn't going to be able to do cookies on it and have it look as intended the way you can with actual fabric. But the die I used with cookies was also tiny. I finally thought of a way to work it out.
