Stamped candles

I meant to post these before Christmas but I didn't get a good pic and didn't make the effort to keep trying. So.... I'm just a tad late. You could always make some to burn on New Year's Eve! *grin* You can find tutorials online on how to do this. Basically, you stamp on tissue paper, cut close around your image, use a piece of waxed paper to hold your tissue to the candle, and slightly melt the candle and waxed paper with a heat gun. The tissue paper absorbs the wax and 'melts' into the candle. You can also use printed tissue paper - which is what I did with the last 2 candles, cutting out some words and images. Happy Holidays!!

  2. This is a neat idea! I love candles but tend to keep them plain. I'd love to get fancy though. Maybe for Valentine's dinner with all hearts and love stuff on the candles!
